3 Oscars?
[edit]I am sorry but Gavin Macleod has NOT won three Oscars! I have looked all over the net and cannot find that he was even won one Oscar. I am removing that statement.--99.177.248.92 (talk) 19:38, 7 January 2012 (UTC)
Run-on sentence
[edit]Can someone fix this? I can't figure out what it's trying to say
- Next to Bernie Kopell, who played the doctor on The Love Boat series, another one of his co-stars, his lifelong fan and one of his acting students, Ted Lange, who played the bartender in the same series, still remains close friends, who in turn invites MacLeod to one of the plays, he directs, when not making his own appearances.

Mary Tyler Moore Show photo?
[edit]The black and white photo that is captioned "As Murray Slaughter on the Mary Tyler Moore show" isn't a photo from the show. It looks like a publicity shot taken a few years earlier. It doesn't look anything like the character Mr. Macleod played on the MTM show. Please replace that photo with a shot that more correctly depicts "Murray Slaughter." Mr. Macleod's contributions to one of the greatest TV shows ever, should be better represented on his Wikipedia page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.61.20.206 (talk) 14:16, 4 December 2014 (UTC)

gavinmacleod.com is a dead link - should be removed
[edit]FYI the link given in his bio now points to gambling links, it's pretty clear it's no longer maintained.
Opening
[edit]"Co-starred" in McHale's Navy is a bit strong. He was a minor, pretty background character. I don't think he is even on the poster shown of the show's cast. 70.106.233.180 (talk) 15:12, 10 August 2022 (UTC)
