A few problems
[edit]Just dug an old air rifle out of the garage and cleaned it up, this led me to a small trawl round WP's air rifle articles. I came here (redirected from Gat Gun) as I had one of these things as a teenager. What is being described here is not an air weapon at all, it worked on inertia (the barrel compressed against a spring, pulling the trigger released the barrel to spring forward and the pellet, cork or feathered dart carried on for about 20 ft).
This article name should be Gat gun as that is what they were commonly known as (in the UK at least), needs someone who knows more about these things to categorise it properly and clarify how they worked. I would say that it is notable (I see previous AfDs) as many thousands were produced and sold in the late 1970s (but no source for that!).
