Virtually every reference source lists his date of birth as 17 September 1937, with the sole exception of the Australian Dictionary of Biography (which I've linked), which gives 12 March 1938. I have no idea which is correct, so I'll leave it as is with this note and the link. MisfitToys20:50, 9 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
