It is the largest law firm in Iberia and is in the news regularly. [[1]], [[2]], and [[3]].

It is the first major Spanish law firm to publish a Corporate Social Responsibility Report and is a "leading specialist" in that area [[4]]

In November 2007 it was No. 4 in martindale.com's list of searches made for Spanish law firms. [[5]] In October it was No. 3. It has been on the list for nine months.

It sponsors the Garrigues-Affinitas Prizes for Good Corporate Governance in Latin America, which is to recognize the efforts made by Latin American companies in implementing good corporate governance and transparency policies. The prizes are to be awarded annually, and the winners will be announced during the Latibex Forum, an event organized by Latibex for Latin-American companies which trade in Euros on the Madrid Stock Exchange. Garrigues' main pillars are quality and service, combined with a commitment to find and implement the most appropriate solutions to meet each client's needs. Specialties

[edit]

As I recall, the list of specialties were taken from the Garrigues Web site. Anyway, there is no source cited for Garrigues being a general law firm. Do they do criminal law (robbery, burglary, etc.) and divorces? Thus I have reverted a recent change made by Mediterraneo. Yours sincerely, GeorgeLouis (talk) 00:23, 28 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
