About Tak and Gan
[edit]There is no direct evidence that Gan directly opposed Tak; the "God" in that book is not known for sure to be Gan itself; it may very well be "just" the God of that particular level of the Tower or Parallel Universe....hence my statement in the paragraphs above the one that was introduced and later removed by myself.
We all know that Gan created everything in every Stephen King Universe; what we aren't sure of, however, is whether or not the God seen in various SK books is Gan himself or just an "underling" or lesser "servant" of the White (except, of course, the God of the Keystone World [our real world], who is more or less directly referred to as Gan).
As to Tak itself, that creature wasn't even all that aware of the God 'seen' in the pages of Desperation; while it did believe in other Gods (its own name means, essentially, "big God" it was aware only at the end, and after it was too late, that God was manipulating it.
Furthermore, Tak showed no indication whatsoever (in either novel) that it served anything or anyone else.....not even the Crimson King. Thanos777 22:19, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
