Origin

[edit]

since warlock stopped the magus from ever existing, wouldn't her origin change to accomodate the new timeline? someone told me that the badoon destroyed her home in the infinity watch series but was still rescued by thanos. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.38.212.210 (talkcontribs) 01:21, 31 July 2006

Thanos deduced that because he, Gamora, Warlock and Pip were at the epicentre of the time change, they were unaffected. Timrollpickering (talk) 19:18, 22 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Correct, in Infinity Watch it was shown that the badoon were responsible in the new timeline somewhere around in Infinity Watch #14 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.117.194.84 (talk) 19:37, 18 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Raped?

[edit]
I'm reading the Infinity Watch comics (Infinity Watch #9 shows a good deal of her back story with Thanos) right now - it doesn't actually say that she was raped, however heavily implied it may seem. THECHRISMAN (talk) 04:26, 4 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Her name

[edit]

Why does her name sound like Sodom_and_Gomorrah? Is there a political meaning, such as Sodom for homosexual men, and Gomorrah for attractive lesbians? It seems like it is more than 'just a coincidence' with the exact pronunciation, but it needs to be only in the TALK page for now, not the article. PS: To me, it seems like the 'elephant in the room' -- everyone sees it, but the obvious is not to be mentioned. -- Right? -- Just asking, Charles Edwin Shipp (talk) 13:34, 23 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

PS: The two article pictures are nice. -- Charles Edwin Shipp (talk) 13:37, 23 August 2014 (UTC) -- Keep up the good work.[reply]
There's no indication it's significant, and also no indication she's a lesbian...she's been in relationships with multiple men. Superheroes often have names that are appropriated without additional meaning. Argento Surfer (talk) 12:33, 25 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
