Grammar in "Family and relationships"

[edit]

"After the couple broke their engagement, two sons and a daughter." This is not remotely a proper sentence, and I can't correct it as the article is locked.

Done - the entire section looked like it needed tweaking. Thanks for pointing it out. Chaheel Riens (talk) 12:54, 26 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The Game and Skrillex collabed recently

[edit]

This needs to be added in somewhere:

"The Game and Skrillex collaborated on a song named, "El Chapo", which was released on October 9, 2015."

Molestation

[edit]

@Fijipeace: - Do you have a source for the recent edits with regard to his father molesting him? The citation after the sentence does not say anything about that. This seems like the type of thing we shouldn't include without a source. I can see the sister's molestation being notable since it's been mentioned in several articles, but I don't see anything about his own molestation besides on this Wikipedia page. Am I missing something? Thanks. -KaJunl (talk) 20:53, 11 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I deleted the content again which is unsourced. I was originally going to add a needs citation tag but the guidelines below seem to say for living people in a case like this it is better to delete the content.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:Citation_needed
Also the poster I mentioned above does not seem to be responding and deleted my talk page comment with no explanation. -KaJunl (talk) 00:16, 14 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

As some further information for anyone reading -I can't find any evidence to back up this claim. Several other sources on the web mention the sister's abuse, but I can't find anything on his own abuse or surgery except this article. The citation at the end of the sentence was added before the sentence had any content about his abuse. The citation was dead but i found the video with that name on the internet and updated the citation but when I watch it the allegation in question is not mentioned. Also the citation link was likely dead when the user fairly recently edited the sentence. -KaJunl (talk) 21:17, 18 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Third Opinion

[edit]

A Third Opinion has been requested. In order to provide a third opinion, there must have been discussion between two editors. It appears that only one editor is discussing, so that I am removing the Third Opinion request. I strongly urge both editors to discuss whether the abuse allegations should be included, rather than simply reverting. If the other editor continues to revert edits without discussion, a Request for Page Protection can be used to force discussion, or a Request for Comments can be used to obtain consensus. In the "2024: Social media video controversy" section, it states that The Game said "go kill yourself" to the 22 year old man, which is correctly cited in the linked articles. However, in the video The Game actually says "you need to cure yourself." This direct quote should be removed or updated to reflect what is actually said in the video.  Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. We need to go with the published sources. If we can find a WP:RS with the other interpretation, there's a case to be made for changing it. PianoDan (talk) 17:09, 8 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
