I have a feeling that this is strictly from Harry Potter lexicon, but I am not an expert on coins. This should be reviewed by someone with numismatic knowledge. If it is just Harry Potter stuff, it should probably be removed because the galleon disambig page has a link to the Harry Potter pages with info about currency system. Agreed. I recommend deletion. A search of Google revealed only three types of coin related results: Harry Potter references, references to coins found in shipwrecks of galleon ships, and coins with images of galleon ships on them.
