Hi there, my name is CaliforniaDreamsFan, and I'll be reviewing this article! You will receive the review within a couple of days .

[edit]Infobox
[edit]- Knowing that the song two physical formats, add a caption and alt to the image.
- Done
- Everything else is good!
Lead section
[edit]- "Written by Kamikaoru, Junji Ishiwatari, Fridolin Nordsø, Frederik Tao, and Martin Hedegaard, and produced by Okajima, Kanata, Andreas Oberg, and Maria Marcus" –––> "The song was written by Kamikaoru, Junji Ishiwatari, Fridolin Nordsø, Frederik Tao, and Martin Hedegaard, whilst production was handled by Okajima, Kanata, Andreas Oberg, and Maria Marcus."
- ""Galaxy Supernova" is an electropop song." –––> "Musically, “Galaxy Supernova” is an electropop song."
- Add Japanese before "Oricon Singles Chart" just to specify what region it charted in.
- Swap the music video details and the live performances around.
- Done all
Background and release
[edit]- ""Galaxy Supernova" was written by Kamikaoru, Junji Ishiwatari, Fridolin Nordsø, Frederik Tao, and. Martin Hedegaard. Production of the song was handled by Okajima, Kanata, Andreas Oberg, and Maria Marcus." –––> ""Galaxy Supernova" was written by Kamikaoru, Junji Ishiwatari, Fridolin Nordsø, Frederik Tao, and Martin Hedegaard, whilst production was handled by Okajima, Kanata, Andreas Oberg, and Maria Marcus."
- Done
- Is there any information regarding where it was recorded, composed by, etc.? If not, don’t worry about this statement.
- No info on where it was recorded, but songwriting credits have been corrected to include lyricists and composers.
- You don’t really need to add the information regarding where on the album it is placed (track four); it’s slightly unnecessary.
- Done
- ""Galaxy Supernova" was released as a single September 18, 2013." –––> ""Galaxy Supernova" was released as the second single from the groups third Japanese album Love & Peace on September 18, 2013."
- Done. This required some re-writing of the surrounding sentences.
- "The standard release of the single featured a B-side titled "Do the Catwalk". It was released as a physical CD single in Japan on Nayutawave Records." –––> Removed this, and re-write it as –––> "Available as a CD single in Japan by Nayutawave Records, it includes the b-side track “Do the Catwalk”."
- This doesn't seem grammatically correct, so I re-wrote it a bit differently.
- Merge both the second paragraph and third paragraph together.
- Done
- Everything else is good!
Promotion
[edit]- I’d suggest to move this section below the Composition and reception section; it runs nicely and gets the song’s initial details out of the way first.
- Done
- "The music video for "Galaxy Supernova" was released on September 5, 2013. It was directed by Japanese director Toshiyuki Suzuki" –––> "An accompanying music video for “Galaxy Supernova” was directed by Toshiyuki Suzuki, and was released on September 5, 2013."
- I re-wrote it slightly differently. I think it flows a little better.
- For the second sentence, you quote "flashy virtual reality world"; if it’s a quote from a writer at a music/news website, then make sure you mention them (e.g. The video features the members dancing in a "flashy virtual reality world" in multicolored jeans and outfits, as described by [name] from [name]). Or something like this.
- Done. Jeff Benjamin was mentioned in the previous section, so is just the surname OK?
- Everything else is good!
Composition and reception
[edit]- If there is literally no other sources or news/media outlets that describe the song’s composition (apart from that one entry for the first sentence), then I suggest you take the first sentence and place it as the last sentence for the first paragraph through the Background and release section.
- Done
- The reception section is really good, but is there any other reviews? If not, you can leave it.
- I couldn't find any from sources that I know are reliable.
- Knowing that if there is little critical responses, just retitle this section simply as Reception
- Done
- "It peaked at number three on the Oricon Weekly Singles Chart.[18] It became the eighth best-selling physical single of September in Japan, selling 62,371 copies.[19]" –––> "It peaked at number three on the Oricon Weekly Singles Chart, and became the eighth best-selling physical single of September in Japan, selling 62,371 copies."
- Done
- Is the sound file necessary in any way? I can see it as an example when it has been compared to the group’s previous Japanese singles (as stated in the article), but that’s only from one critic’s point of view. Unless you can’t find any other views from music critics, then I suggest you remove/delete it from the article. I just don’t think one critic’s view is strong enough to warrant its presence in the article.
- Patrick St. Michael also compared the song to "Mr. Taxi", so there's two critics for that.
Track listing
[edit]- Knowing that there is two formats, pluralize the heading as Track listings and formats.
- Done

Other additional notes
[edit]- Was there any more people part of this song? Photography, vocalists, producers, arrangers? I would suggest you make a quick “credits and personnel” section to identify who did what, as some parts, such as the lack of a music video director, is absent throughout the article.
- Done
- Knowing that you’ve identified some single sales throughout the reception section, would you want to add a list box next to charts with sales?; E.g. see Eat You Up as an example.
- Done
Overall
[edit]A really solid article with some touch-ups that need attention. On hold for seven days; good luck! CaliforniaDreamsFan (talk · contribs} 07:16, 3 June 2016 (UTC)
