For prosecuting Caepio after he absconded with the treasury of Tolosa and destroyed his army by not conferring with the consul who had command? Hm. Scholarly sources, particularly British sources of certain periods, tend to be biased against popularist figures in ancient Rome, or to accept the optimate biases of ancient sources.
