Untitled
[edit]I noticed there are many photographs of Gaia's art, especially in major newspapers such as the New York Times, the Baltimore Sun, the Philadelphia Inquirer, and the Miami Herald. However, I was unsure of the copyright status of those photos, so I did not upload them.
If anyone can contribute photos with clear copyright releases (or a Fair Use rationale) to this article, it would be a great contribution - especialy since this article is about a painter. Photos of his paintings would be a great addition.

Drive-by template removed
[edit]An editor left the following template on this article on March 1, 2012:
- "This article may rely too heavily on sources with too close a tie to the subject to be verifiable and neutral. Please help improve it by replacing them with more appropriate citations to reliable, independent, third-party sources." (February 2012)
The template was 1 of this editor's 138 edits for March 1. Most impressively, he was able to make this edit in roughly 30 seconds, since he made another edit on another page, in the same minute of 5:33.[1] Apparently, in building up his edit count, this editor did not have time to actually read the article, or the underlying sources, or to provide any information on this talk page.
I will take that time. Please note that as of today (March 1, 2012) 9 of the 23 in-line citations in this article are from the New York Times and the Baltimore Sun.
Enough said. I will now remove this drive-by template. Nelsondenis248 (talk) 08:23, 1 March 2012 (UTC)

To add to article
[edit]Basic information to add to this article (in order to help make it more properly encyclopedic): information about Gaia's family background and ethnic heritage. Is he of at least partly Italian heritage? 98.123.38.211 (talk) 01:55, 21 October 2024 (UTC)
