Hi, I am adjusting reference locations and verifying content of each reference. Question: how to reference media i.e television and radio that no longer exists on the web? Offline media can be obtained at a cost from the studios and copies I have would violate copyright if I post them anywhere. Daniel Daniel Reyes (talk) 13:54, 29 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Neutral Point of View

[edit]

Hi, I realize that I'm very close to the subject matter. I hope that the lens of time has lent some neutrality to my perspective. I have asked other people to take a look, make changes, etc, but it seems that people are intimidated by wikipedia. Or too busy. Go figure. Without having been there or read and listened to all of the source material it can be daunting. Thank you. Daniel Daniel Reyes (talk) 06:46, 14 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Daniel, you seem to have sourced the article very well. I would say that it needs some additional cleaning for neutrality but is otherwise well written. --RichardMills65 (talk) 23:57, 15 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This page is totally biased. In fact it is as if its an "about us" page on the companies website. If the page was about handcontrols or disabled drivers with some form of reference to the company than fine but to go into something so irrelevant and not present. Its as if the author is upset that his company is no longer in existence and still wants to see his name in lights. Just saying! Changes

[edit]

Can you give the sources for the following:

  1. Mr. Reyes provided $11.1 to 11.25 million in startup funds. and would frequently donate the proceeds of his monthly trust fund to float the business.
  2. Their reason being that the equipment had not been tried and tested and @ $10,000 per install was too expensive to explore. In this atmosphere, GO technologies had no immediate openings for wide distribution in the normal disability sales channels and would have to seek an entry into the market via the backdoor.
  3. In house marketing trainee, Veronica Monger
  4. As the cost of the conversion was usually in the $10,000 - $12,000 price range,[20] this arrangement was difficult to justify as the additional cost would typically mean an additional $300 per month to fund over 5 years, just on the controls alone.
  5. When compiled with the cost of a new vehicle most disabled drivers would not consider this option. Jim Gray advised in 2007 that as good as the system sounds, its safety issues together with cost would not make this a viable option for disabled drivers/
  6. It was great for use in track scenarios but for everyday use, the system proved very difficult to contend with as Disabled Race Driver Lance Magin experienced when driving the Miata from Los Angeles to San Diego late one night and found himself stalled on the freeway without being able to get out of harms way. Luckily for him a CHP officer came to his rescue on the 405 and block the road off.
  7. 2002 Mazda Miata
  8. 2006 Mazda MX5
  9. 2006 Ford Mustang convertible
  10. The Easy Touch hand controls have been undergoing these tests and road trials since 2009 but to ultimately succeed they will need the backing of driver evaluators which is difficult to obtain due their stringent safety procedures
  11. "Anything but a Van" by Veronica Monger from Utah.

future edits

[edit]

Hi, my plan is to wait until 3/28 and the protection is off, at which time I want to restore the page. Then working from that basis, doing an edit to make the article more neutral. I'd like to take the time between now and then to discuss possible bias, and style issues. One thing that I had trouble with is Veronica Verve's name. Although this is not her legal name, it is under this nom de plume that she worked and by which she is referred in articles. There are no references to her in relationship to go technologies under any other name.Daniel Reyes (talk) 01:40, 22 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I'm restoring the pre accorsgroup version of the article. I realize that some sections would benefit from prudent editing, and I hope that these could be discussed before hand. I will also be editing myself, but I'm handicapped by closeness to the material. Daniel Reyes (talk) 06:44, 25 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I don't seem to be able to make any edits, so I'll wait until next week.Daniel Reyes (talk) 07:12, 25 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Daniel Reyes (talk) 05:59, 27 April 2012 (UTC)==Restored Text== I restored the pre vandalized text, and I welcome editing discussion and maybe some tips.Daniel Reyes (talk) 03:04, 5 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This page is full of inaccuracies and is just a promotion for a new venture. It does not mention other corporations such as the menox and mobility works. E Baxter —Preceding undated comment added 08:39, 18 April 2012 (UTC).[reply]

Please discuss the inaccuracies so that we can improve the article. This article is about go technologies, not hand controls in general. If you could contribute a meaningful article about hand controls and other companies, then perhaps go technologies could be a part of your larger article.Daniel Reyes (talk) 06:00, 27 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Revisit Notes

[edit]

It has been over a year since the Issues box has been placed on this article.

I am removing the notability issue, the listed sources issue, and the intricate detail issue notes.

There have been no evidence of a lack of notability and the 44 listed sources belie this and the listed issue note.

The intricate detail is an editorial call and no one has pointed out the details in question.

I feel that a year is sufficient time to allow for this.

I am leaving the close connection and the orphan issues.

HI,

I have reversed the bot modifications to the URLs of the publications. The modified URLs are all to dead links where the originals are linked to archived pages. D--Daniel Reyes (talk) 21:19, 26 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
