Weird sentence
[edit]- C++ programmers have to use static functions redirecting to the correct member function, since the address used for static member functions in C++ is compatible with the GSL.
to someone unfamiliar with this subject, this sentence is confusing. i always thought incompatibility produced problems, not compatibility. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.137.223.153 (talk • contribs) 00:03, 21 February 2007
- Is that relevant? That feature is not important and a member function pointer can be easily transformed to a functor. --Chricho ∀ (talk) 15:46, 26 June 2011 (UTC)
- I don't even see how this belongs in this article. Function pointer / member function pointers difference is a pure C++ aspect and while it might be a problem when C libraries from C++, this is in no way specific to the GNU Scientific Library ...--139.124.3.100 (talk) 12:40, 9 August 2012 (UTC)
