Sorry...but the Germans were faster
[edit]Borgward introduced the Hansa 1500 in 1949, and all important publications regarding cars are agreeing that this car was the first mass-produced vehicle featuring the Ponton body.

- The GAZ-M20 Pobeda is a ponton as well. That would date back zu 1946. According to Ponton (car), there are several others from the 1940s and even 1930s. I guess I just delete the sentence here. Regards, --Druschba 4 (talk) 14:55, 3 September 2021 (UTC)
