Cover cameo?

[edit]

G'Nort makes a cameo on the Jim Lee cover of Infinite Crisis #7. Noteable? Or not? Lots42 (talk) 01:25, 28 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Not.--Darknus823 (talk) 22:30, 21 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

JLU

[edit]

The 'Unlimited' section is all weird grammar wise. Can someone who watched the episode fix it? Lots42 (talk) 12:08, 9 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Variations on name spelling

[edit]

When (if ever), did the spelling of his name go from Gnort to G'nort? I'm reading JLI #10 and his name was Gnort. If you look at his infobox image, it is spelled Gnort. If noone responds within a week, I may move this to Gnort. A 3rd spelling of his name I noticed in the article is G'Nort. We should decide which one to use in the article, and back it up with {{cite comic}}.--Rockfang (talk) 12:39, 30 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Discussion

[edit]
Any additional comments:

How is the name being spelled currently (or in the character's latest appereances?). If it's G'Nort, that is how it should stay. Lots42 (talk) 11:34, 6 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A search through Google reveals that even other pages can't agree within their own text...I say that -one- cover image is not enough to change what many other Wikipedia editors by default, since they did not change the spelling, agreed on. Lots42 (talk) 11:38, 6 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not sure how it is spelled in current comics. I'm still reading comics from the late 1980s.  :) I asked in the section above if/when it got changed, but noone answered. I'm wondering if the spelling differences (other than Gnort) may be just "fan made". Regarding your point on the one cover, don't forget about his first appearance as well. So at least we have 2 official sources.--Rockfang (talk) 15:15, 6 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Picture

[edit]

I believe we need a picture showing the most noteable fact about Gnort, basically that he is a humanoid canine. And maybe one a lot more loveable looking. Sure, Gnort is mean when he needs to be but that's not his 'natural' state. Lots42 (talk) 20:07, 30 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Attention Green Lantern fans

[edit]

As I understand it, the various Green Lantern pages need references. I found the two I put in here for G'Nort by using 'Google Books'. It's a thing with previews and other fun information for regular, paper-and-electronic published books. Lots42 (talk) 05:21, 10 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
