Fussball body protection

[edit]

Football has addressed body protection but falls short for both girls and boys who practice more aggressive forms of Fussball.

My father played football for UVa in the 1920's and fortunately received no injuries. He used to talk about how much he enjoyed playing.

My only explanation for his safety record might have been that they did not hit as hard back then. Of course no one would admit to that!

I lived in Germany for two years and noted they referred to soccer as "fussball" and soccer as "killer ball"

maybe the time has come to reexamine the situation, especially now that girls are also enjoying the sport.

Unfortunately many young people, both girls and boys do not want to break protocol even to wear something that might save their life.

Our group may want to contact VaTech for a look at their large selection of sports protection gear With this sort of group action, maybe we could make body protection devices as common as seat belts or more! 173.235.248.95 (talk) 06:57, 29 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
