Weak Intro

They were a "famous" band? If they were famous wouldn't the fame speak for itself or wouldn't the fame be illustrated elsewhere in the piece? What kind of question is that listed above???? Well, the fame of this band is certainly not determined by those who obviously never listened to their music, as this person seems to demonstrate. Quite frankly, their fame does more than just speak for itself. Go anywhere the planet and one can find tons of fans...

He's just questioning the need to call them "famous" in the intro. There are hundreds of bands of much greater fame than Funkadelic (my second-favourite American band of all time!), and none of them have Wikipedia articles that begin "The Beatles were a famous band..." or "Santana were a famous band..." or etc. As you yourself said, their fame speaks for itself! Sleigh Bells

Malik Shabazz is being an ignorant jackass.
