Replica ship
[edit][1] gives some information that seems to conflict with that given for the replica ship, specifically that the ship pictured is a replica of a ship built in Salem in 1797. Is there a reference linking the 1797 ship with the one built in 1784? Additionally, the Friendship of Salem is listed as 342-ton, while this article gives 278. I suspect that there may not be a link between the two ships, and that the picture as currently displayed may not be relevent.Fehrgo 03:38, 28 April 2007 (UTC)
Second ship named Friendship
[edit]I've found that there was another ship called the Friendship. She was a bark that sank of the U.S. West Coast in 1860. Would it be possible to change the article name to reflect this? Preferably from Friendship (ship) to Friendship (brig). I'm trying to find out more on the one vessel at the moment. And would like to have the option to possibly make it's own page.Ryoga-2003 (talk) 01:59, 16 March 2009 (UTC)
Francis Walton
[edit]I'd just like to point out that the Francis Walton linked in this article was born forty-four years after the Friendship was scuttled. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.121.174.24 (talk) 15:10, 8 August 2010 (UTC)
