Is Hans Peter Richter the narrator

The sentences "Though the story is told by his non-Jewish friend (Hans Peter Richter or the narrator), Friedrich is the protagonist. We can assume he is Hans Peter Richter." either do not make it clear whether Richter is the narrator or Friedrich is or make the reader assume Richter is Friedrich. To clarify this, I have changed it to "We can assume the narrator is Hans Peter Richter," though this may not be correct if Richter is portrayed as Friedrich. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.27.252.150 (talk) 02:43, 6 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
