This kind of commentary needs to be shown & discussed in the Talk Pages, rather than poxed throughout the article by someone who can't be bothered to research their objections, e.g.: clarify | yes.famous expedition. Supposedly he couldn't have been more than four years into his "job" whatever that was for the Bureau of Ethnology, which credential doesn't show up here|date=August 2013.Manytexts (talk) 08:10, 28 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
WP:AGF. I came here through an Acoma-type article. Interested, I started checking various facts. As I pursued them throughout the article, it seemed to me that his credentials were vastly inflated. The items popped out one at a time as I was researching him. I didn't enter the article with any intent of downgrading anyone, or any editors effort. It's just that the citations and credentials don't stand up, one at a time. It appears that he was linked with barely famous anthropologists expeditions and happened to be in the right place at the right time, to be included on them. With no statement of and credentials to do so, except a possible lack of credentials or accomplishments in his previous work. Article probably should be deleted. I was "sort of" hoping that someone who had edited this stuff in would pop a rabbit out of a hat and I could avoid the nomination. Student7 (talk) 16:32, 2 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
