  • The link between Frederick II of Sicily and Frederic II Hohenstaufen, second Emperor of Roman Empire is confusing. Frederic II Hohenstaufen was the first sicilian king, and the second king of Sicily, Frederick II of Aragon, ( crowned as Frederick III only to give him legitimacy ), is not the same person.


Aargh, avoid this page. This is a certain way to cause confusion. Besides, slow edit warriors have changed the redirect between these two guys now at least ten times. What a weathervane.
