Military Service

[edit]

I removed the Continental Army category - Frelinghuysen was an officer of the state militia. He saw action at the Battle of Trenton, but as a member of the militia, not the Continental establishment. Lou I 18:49, 7 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

We now have militia categories, so I added those. —Kevin Myers 06:33, 15 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

"Frederick Frelinghuysen (senator)", the current article name, is insufficiently disambiguated.
"Frederick Frelinghuysen", the above's grandson, was also a U.S. Senator from New Jersey. The grandson's article name includes his middle name.
I suggest this article be moved, to either:
"Frederick Frelinghuysen (Continental Congress)" or
"Frederick Frelinghuysen (American Revolutionary War)". Any other suggestions? --AuthorityTam (talk) 14:19, 12 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
