I've reviewed this article as part of the Composers project review of its B-class articles. This article is B-class; its primary fault is that it is missing a works listing. ===Summary=== I always like reading bios like this one. It's reasonably short and pithy, yet leaves me feeling like I know the poor fellow all too well. I'm not sure I've heard any Berwald, and, after reading this, I'm not sure I want to; if this was the objective of the editors, it succeeded.

That said, the article is missing a few things that shorter composers bios are frequently lacking. A complete works list (in list form -- it's possible that all of his works are named in the article, but I can't tell that) is the most obvious. Editors wanting to promote this article for GA consideration would need to add more inline citations; they should probably also be consulting the named English bio as a reference work.
