Name

[edit]

The article should be moved to František Janeček, the properly spelled version of the man's name in Czech. Timbouctou 08:33, 6 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I considered this but decided that, as the article is on English Wikipedia, I should use the English spelling (as used in the main references) and create redirects for the two other variations. I have nominated it for DYK but will check with Wikipedia Biography for guidance and go with the consensus. In the meantime it would be helpful if you had the time to see if we can get a photo released under Creative Commons from one of the many Czech web sites? I tried using Google translate but it was tricky so would appreciate your help. Thank you Thruxton (talk) 13:02, 7 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
