Court Martial

[edit]

I am seeing articles about Commandant Wharton being court martialed. However I don't see a source that we can quote, several forum's, and personal websites. Sephiroth storm (talk) 18:32, 21 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

There is a book that goes into detail about Commandant Wharton's court martial and acquittal of 1817. Its entitled: Heroes, US Marine Corps Medal of Honor Winners by Marc Cerassini on pages 20, 22-23, and 27. You'll also find the information in the Historical Dictionary of the United States Marine Corps by Harry A Gailey under the entry about Archibald Henderson. http://books.google.com/books?id=a9EQacCT6RcC&pg=PA97&lpg=PA97&dq=commandant+wharton+court+martial&source=bl&ots=qgk1bbKB6x&sig=5I3jKlZ3OROsDzBWZf_Evg6Mf6s&hl=en&sa=X&ei=lkDnUYe2HarjiAKl8IGoCg&ved=0CG0Q6AEwCA#v=onepage&q=commandant%20wharton%20court%20martial&f=false It's also discussed at the Leatherneck Magazine message board http://www.leatherneck.com/forums/archive/index.php/t-3489.html — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.21.115.10 (talk) 01:16, 18 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
