@Dual Freq:: While looking through the Chicago Tribune for information on the Iroquois Theatre fire, I found Gunsaulus mentioned. The story is http://archives.chicagotribune.com/1903/11/25/page/3/article/shoots-his-brother-twice under Central Church May Move to the Iroquois Theater. I don't know anything about Gunsaulus and this article doesn't discuss the time around 1903 much. But it's evident he had a large congregation and was looking for an even larger venue. The Iroquois had about 1,600 seats plus standing room. It burned down December 30, 1904, with a loss of 600 lives. Roches (talk) 15:16, 27 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
