Disclosure of related interest: I have recently edited this article mainly to update the district number to reflect the 2012 redistricting, add more relevant categories, and an image. While Mr. Skartados is not my assemblyman, I am a member of the Orange CountyDemocratic Committee (though not the Executive Committee), an entity which has an interest in Assemblyman Skartados's continued electoral success. If anyone reading this feels that my edits are not strictly neutral, please contact me so we can discuss. Daniel Case (talk) 17:14, 9 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I have reviewed the section entitled "Personal life" and found it to be problematic. I would invite @TDKR Chicago 101: who seems to be a seasoned editor in good standing, to explain why several assertions in this section were placed alongside citations which in no way supported them. I am not opposed to restoring the text if suitable citations are found, but the only ones provided are, more or less, standard obituaries with none of the colorful information appearing in the article. 2600:8800:1880:91E:5604:A6FF:FE38:4B26 (talk) 10:46, 16 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I found a better source which flat out states what was in the Personal life section: [1] and the source that you removed did cite Skartados did have a child in his life.--TDKR Chicago 101 (talk) 10:49, 16 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
