Contested deletion
[edit]This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because it now contains citations to reliable sources and Frank McCrystal appears to have at least some notability, has a nice award. The article clearly needs developing. --Bejnar (talk) 07:00, 11 November 2012 (UTC)
- [Copied from a prod on article page] No evidence of notability. Being coach of a university team is not enough, and the only other claim of significance is having received a not very prominent award. There does not seem to be any significant coverage in independent sources. --JamesBWatson (talk) 14:32, 13 November 2012 (UTC)
- Actually, I think that there may be significant coverage. I note that in looking at the various references that come up for Frank McCrystal that they are often quoting him. If you are concerned about possible lack of notability, at least put this up for Afd so that there can be a discussion. As you can see below, I think that the best solution is a redirect, but others may differ. --Bejnar (talk) 19:13, 13 November 2012 (UTC)
Possible merge and redirect
[edit]Unless there is a great deal more to be said about him, maybe merging this into the Regina Rams article would be good. --Bejnar (talk) 07:10, 11 November 2012 (UTC)
