[edit]

I have just read the October 2004 issue of the "American Journal of Archaeology" where Frank Kolb presents his perspective on the topic of Troy, and it is accompanied by a counterpoint written by two other Archaeologists. As it was still a topic of debate worth publishing in that peer-reviewed journal in 2004, the phrase "..has proven Kolb is wrong" is itself unsubstantiated, especially considering the lack of sources cited. I welcome further insight.
