Notable Events

[edit]

There are two notable events about Frank Field of which I am aware.

One was during an episode of Tomorrow with Tom Snyder (this might actually be David Letterman, I cannot remember with certainty), Snyder and a guest went on a tour of the NBC building. At one point, they met upon Field (who was already well known to the national audience) pretending to be a janitor.

The other was a claim by either the New York Post or the New York Daily News that Field was not a doctor. The newspaper subsequently claimed they were refering to Field not being a physician. Field, during his weather segment, showed the audience his doctoral diploma.

Dr.

[edit]

What degree does Frank Field hold that makes him a doctor? 151.198.148.170 06:01, 18 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Dr

[edit]

He is a doctor of Opthamology and Optometry. I was told he was born Franklin Feld. And that his family changed their last names, after immigrating to America, to Anglicise it and escape persecution.
