Isn't Spain and the Holocaust WP:PRECISE enough? There wasn't any other Spain at the time. (t · c) buidhe 22:22, 14 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

It is true that the headpage is Francoist Spain but I personally would not be opposed to a move. Perhaps it's better dealt with through a RM discussion though? —Brigade Piron (talk) 11:24, 15 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Francoist Spain and the HolocaustSpain and the Holocaust – The proposed name is sufficiently WP:PRECISE, given that there was no other Spain at the time, and more concise. Works cited in this article include "Spain and the Holocaust", "Spain and the Jews in the Second World War", "Spain, the Second World War, and the Holocaust: History and Representation". Comparisons with other neutral nations.

[edit]

Is it possible to offer a comparison section with other neutral nations? From what I have read they all reached comparable levels of protection and Switzerland and Sweden (Both democracies.) actually took in slightly less according to their Wikipedia page and some other sources I have read (Sweden did try to get more but it did not manage to.) and the biggest critique, other than a reasonable rebuttal of Francisco Paulino Hermenegildo Teódulo Franco Bahamonde's bloviating, is that Sephardic jews expected Spain to protect them or something which I do not understand exactly. In any case even if you exclude the efforts of individual Spanish diplomats in Hungary, the Spanish did more numerically to support jews than other European neutral countries which surely needs to be mentioned?
