Assessing issue
[edit]According to WP Biography's response, this article has not so many reference: it is only three: one is recurring from another, and two came from the same person. Before re-classifying it to C, consider reading each Wikiproject's rule on determining how your article will achieve a C. Otherwise, improve it first. Mohttp://wiki.riteme.site/w/index.php?title=Talk:Francisco_Carre%C3%B3n&action=edit§ion=1re likely and expected that editors who did not edit the article significantly assess the article concerned. Please abide with that.--JL 09 q?c 16:10, 1 October 2009 (UTC)
- Please visti this page if you still cannot distinguish the difference between C-class articles from Start-class. You can find there some examples of such articles. Francisco Carreon is not a very-well known Filipino general, why a high-importance? Please read rules first, not all new articles or people that played special rule in a certain topic deserves good assessment, it is entirely based on the article itself, how it was written, etc.--JL 09 q?c 17:17, 1 October 2009 (UTC)
- It's supposed to be assessed as high because he did serve as Vice President of this country. Now since he wasn't official, he might be assessed lower than that, but his ack of relative notability shouldn't hinder in the assessment.--ᜊᜓᜅ ᜅ᜔ ᜑᜎᜋᜅ᜔ ᜋᜑᜒᜏᜄ (ᜂᜐᜉ)Baybayin 01:12, 2 October 2009 (UTC)
- 23prootie, please read Tambayan's rule first. High importance does not mean that it implies to what a person did in history: it is solely based the way the article was written. If you really want to change assessment of this article, better contact seav as you wish.--JL 09 q?c 12:24, 2 October 2009 (UTC)
- Let me explain. Class means how the article is written. Importance is how the article places in the project as a whole. With Regards to the "Balangay, Silangan, Dapitan" controversy. I know that they are meant to be code names but they are themselves references to attributes surrounding the Philippines, for example Dapitan is a direct reference to Dapitan City, where Jose Rizal was exiled. And as for the Vice President infobox, Wikipedia is not rigid. even though the government does not recognize him as such since his position has characteristics that has shown him as such then it should be listed.--ᜊᜓᜅ ᜅ᜔ ᜑᜎᜋᜅ᜔ ᜋᜑᜒᜏᜄ (ᜂᜐᜉ)Baybayin 05:38, 3 October 2009 (UTC)
- I've returned these to start class until a proper outside assesment can be done. 12prootie please refrain from edit warring and upgrading the class yourself as you are not uninvolved and as the author of the article you have a conflict of interest when it comes to properly assessing it. Concensus is currently against the assessments you've been giving the article, so please seek an outside assessment at the individual project pages as opposed to editing the project banners yourself. --Jezebel'sPonyoshhh 11:20, 3 October 2009 (UTC)
