Teenage writer?
[edit]We list two poetry collections published 1978 and 1979 when Block was 15 and 16 years old. That's important to cover if true, to correct if false.
Her earliest work in the LC Catalog is Weetzie Bat (1989); that's also earliest in ISFDB as published 1990. --P64 (talk) 21:16, 24 September 2013 (UTC)
Erotic fiction
[edit]WorldCat lists numerous Genres (which is not unusual) including erotic fiction.[1] That's worth mentioning with some explanation. --P64 (talk) 21:20, 24 September 2013 (UTC)

Edit request
[edit]I would like to edit my photo to a more current one
Also I am not "currently developing an original show for MTV and writing the screenplay which will bring Weetzie Bat to the cinema." I have co-written the screenplay with Elgin James to be directed by Justin Kelly. https://deadline.com/2018/07/anya-taylor-joy-nick-robinson-sasha-lane-weetzie-bat-film-adaptation-1202424824/
Under "works" I would like to add The Thorn Necklace: Healing Through Writing and the Creative Process (2018) under non-fiction. https://www.sealpress.com/titles/francesca-lia-block/the-thorn-necklace/9781580057516/
Thank you

- (I've taken the liberty of spacing the above post out just to make it a little more readable for the way Wikipedia renders text)
- The best way to submit a new photograph is via our open-ticket request system, which is a confidential system that enables us to verify your identity as well as ensure that the copyright permission for the photo is granted to Wikipedia correctly. If you click on the link there it will take you to a page that will help you with starting that process.
- Thorn Necklace is now included in the correct order. ♠PMC♠ (talk) 21:36, 16 July 2018 (UTC)
- I've added the Weetzie Bat movie bit, and have made some other changes to the article - namely, I've moved the Baby Be-Bop controversy to Dangerous Angels, where it is more relevant, and have trimmed the awards section, which was a little overwrought. ♠PMC♠ (talk) 22:28, 16 July 2018 (UTC)
