"enthusiasm" for nuclear war

[edit]

I don't hold any brief for the Posadists, bt to say, *without a reference* that they were enthusiastic about nuclear war doesn't seem to me to be very encyclopedic.193.51.149.216 (talk) 14:09, 13 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Its also false Posadas was not a supporter of nuclear war in the abstract but believed that nuclear specifically between the united states and USSR would be the prelude to world revolution. This was in the context of the Pabloite split from the FI which thought that such a conflict would be the moment of world revolution. Unfortunatley "posadism" has become a meme that takes this out of context resulting in the mess that is this articleRemusofreem (talk) 20:54, 6 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Overhaul

[edit]

I tried to rewrite this article. It really needed a lead and some better sources, which I tried to provide.

Since this is a highly controversial topic, I would like to get any feedback on how to make this article better.

The "Members parties" section in particular still needs help.

Name

[edit]

Is it really called the "Fourth International Posadist"? Their website (or what seems to be such) calls it the "Posadist Fourth International":

https://en.quatrieme-internationale-posadiste.org/

And the French version of the name fits that. I would not be surprised to see it rendered "Fourth International (Posadist)", because parenthetical postpositive factional markers are a classic element of communist idiom. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.169.25.2 (talk) 20:57, 12 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
