[edit]I met an American Indian who is involved in the casino business who told me he was in Atlanta for talks regarding turning over Ft. McPherson to a Native American group. He claimed there was a precedent in California and the US government found giving up military bases to the Indians was an easy way to settle old Indian land claims. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.145.179.91 (talk • contribs) date
- We'll just have to see if that comes to pass, unless you find a source you can cite, I suppose. - Boss1000 17:11, 23 December 2006 (UTC)
The Ground Forces Band has relocated to Ft Bragg, S Carolina. I was wondering if this is something that could be added to the page. Bmon419 (talk) 00:12, 20 March 2013 (UTC)

[edit]someone needs to make the first step and take all this long winded and completely unreferenced stuff down.... marked since 2009.--Wuerzele (talk) 00:57, 19 August 2014 (UTC)
Saged made this page in 2008. on User talk:Saged she or he admitted working for the Fort McPherson Public Affairs Office and that "All of the information that I have input onto this site was produced by this office in our Fort McPherson Installation Guide Book, which is hot off the press and will soon be uploaded onto our Web site."- This user hasnt contributed since.--Wuerzele (talk) 02:59, 19 August 2014 (UTC)
The person (Saged) most likely did not work for the Fort McPherson Public Affairs Office because they would have known that the property lies entirely in the City of Atlanta. I am a representative of the Neighborhood Planning Unit (NPU-S), Zoning and Land Use (NPU City of Atlanta), Campbellton Rd Tax Allocation Board - City of Atlanta and V-Chair of the MILRA(McPherson Implementation Redevelopment Authority) Community Outreach sub-committee — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dianesehoward (talk • contribs) 17:21, 2 April 2015 (UTC)
I am including an published document that cites the location of the Fort as Atlanta
