Is the mention of Camp Verde accurate in this article or is it confused with Camp Verde further to the north along the river?--Bemcfarland (talk) 21:10, 6 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I know this is old but i had read it was called camp Mcdowell and was a hay stop for calvary. My mom lived in Scottsdale as a young girl. Her mom and her sisters were born out there along with a brother. It is located on the fork of salt and Verde river. Not sure if it
was called Camp Verde and I know what you are talking about. One of the brothers is buried at Fort Whipple near Prescott,Az. 2601:602:C780:7560:B4AD:8958:FCD:4A51 (talk) 11:43, 4 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
