This article is badly in need of citations to be done correctly. I appreciate the energy of the new editor recently involved in this article and the wealth of information coming into the article. I have shown an example of a recent addition to pave the way toward getting the citations properly coded so they arrive at the Notes section toward the end of the article. I hope this is both clear and helpful. Wikipedia rules do not accept parenthetical references in text. Norcalal 09:15, 12 November 2008 (UTC)
I would be happy to use the correct citation format as this would bring a more scholarly perspective; however, after searching the Wiki's instructions, I can't find clear, step-by-step instructions. As soon as I find those instructions, I'll add all the correct citations. I would like to keep the Reference section because some of these sources are overlooked.
