Wow, I can't believe that old Fort Clayton only has an article one paragraph long and with only one photo. When I was there in the mid 90's as a U.S. MP it seemed to be a pretty important military post. I'll see if I can get some of my photo's scanned and uploaded. As I remember there is alot of history associated with this post and a one paragraph article for Fort Clayton seems to be a crying shame. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 4.224.3.208 (talk) 04:02, 17 November 2008 (UTC) . ./b I was stationed at Ft Clayton 1961-1962 as a company clerk for the 517th MP Detachment, Stockade (later renamed to Confinement Facility). In retrospect, it was a very nice looking and well-kept base next to the Miraflores Lock of the Panama Canal. Had a PX, golf course, pool, library, and theater and the Adjutant's HQ — Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.121.250.86 (talk) 14:00, 3 November 2013 (UTC)
I was stationed at Ft. Clayton from 1983-1985 under the Signal Corp in the 193rd Infantry. Great times there and loved the area. Met some really great guys in the Army during that time and will always have fond memories. My barracks were in the N.W. Corner and my bedroom window faced Miraflores Locks. Signed, D.
