[edit]This article claims Fort Christian is the oldest structure in the USVI. However, the article at Blackbeard's Castle states it was built in 1679, one year before Fort Christian. A source that confirms one or the other would be useful. Gentgeen (talk) 06:55, 22 November 2011 (UTC)
- Construction on Fort Christian was begun in 1672 and "completed" (as much as this sort of thing be called finished) in 1680; Blackbeard's Castle was completed in 1679. So, which is older is a matter of how you define "older". Magic♪piano 21:01, 11 November 2015 (UTC)
