"Bigger than Rhode Island"
[edit]In the article, it says "At 650,000 acres (2630 km²), it would be larger than the state of Rhode Island." Rhode island is 3,140 km², which is--obviously--greater than 2,630 km². I'm getting that figure from the article on Rhode Island. Basically, either one is wrong or the other one is. I'm going to assume that the Rhode Island article is more reliable and go ahead and change the phrasing to "nearly the size of Rhode Island." If anybody disagrees, please explain to me what I'm missing here... 216.47.196.211 (talk) 03:44, 2 October 2011 (UTC)
What about the 12th Infantry Regiment?
[edit]In the 2011 documentary On the Dark Side in Al Doura - A Soldier in the Shadows there is reference to this regiment being stationed at Fort Carson that I cannot see is mentioned in this article. Why is that? Also this documentary references and presents serious allegations of systemic misconduct and longtime cover-ups of illegal practices taking place at Fort Carson. Is this something we should attempt to document and present within this article? __meco (talk) 18:29, 23 January 2012 (UTC)
- The Army hasn't fought or been organized in regiments since Camp Carson days (except cavalry and rangers). The book appears to a have an error. 155.213.224.59 (talk) 19:08, 4 September 2014 (UTC)
