Tuning

[edit]

The tunings for this record as on Covenant and Domination remained Eb, but Trey Azagthoth used a 7 string guitar tuned to Bb as well which basically adds a 7th string, tuned to Bb while retaining 6 string tuned to Eb. Tuning on this record is Eb AND Bb.
This section is worded very strange. If the band used 7 string guitars tuned a half step down then the tuning is the same as on Covenant and Domination. It should read that the band used 7 sting guitars tuned a half step down, keeping in line with their two previous albums.

Personally, I think it should be rewritten to state the band kept in line with their two previous albums and tuned a half step down while also using a 7 string in this tuning. The last sentence makes it sound like it's two separate tunings when it isn't.
Agreed, this statement is actually redundant as Bb tuning was used at least on the previous two albums as well (God of Emptiness on Covenant, and Where the Slime Live on Domination), so it is nothing new in this regard. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.211.168.95 (talk) 21:36, 12 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sources?

The introductory paragraphs cite no sources, particularly regarding the album title and critical reception (which should be in its own section). KailuaKid (talk) 20:57, 29 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
