Merge proposal
[edit]I support the merge, and I'd say that this page is slightly better in terms of content. The other page has less content and mainly looks long due to the giant infobox. As for which title is better, I'm not sure I know enough about the subject to say which would be more common. However, as of today, this article has 48 views in the last 30 days, and the other has 363 despite being older.
I think the solution is to lean more heavily on this article in terms of content, but to put it under Forkhead box L2 OR, even better, under FOXL2. The page for the entire family, FOX proteins, has most of the articles using that terminology.
The loser should be turned into a redirect, though. Or if using FOXL2, both pages should be redirects. I'm not experienced with merges at all, so I'd like to defer to someone else. If nobody addresses this though, I'll do my best. Prometheus720 (talk) 01:27, 26 April 2019 (UTC)
- @Prometheus720 (GreatSculptorIthas): The article was terrible in terms of content due to reasons mentioned here. This long overdue merge has been done. SUM1 (talk) 01:13, 5 January 2020 (UTC)
