This important article is all over the place. Needs a big cleanup. We could start with some headings with a logical flow. See other country foreign relations pages. --Merbabu 03:12, 8 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I say, especially when we have out-of-date comments like this example of strangled syntax: Preoccupation with domestic problems has not prevented President Wahid from frequently traveling abroad and continuing to participate vigorously Kransky 13:39, 27 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Foreign relations with other countries section

[edit]

Can someone please make a section or a page about Indonesia's reations with other countries? The countries I would suggest are Australia, Malaysia, East Timor, the European Union, Papua New Guinea and the United States. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.176.61.66 (talk) 13:07, 8 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Format

[edit]

Currently the countries section in this article adopt two type of styles (formats); the flowing narration in paraghraphs and phrases in separate points. This is not consistent, I suggest we use single type of style in countries section, either narration phrases or points, not both of them. I suggest in points to summarize the ideas in simple phrase.Gunkarta (talk) 11:02, 11 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Recognition by countries who weren't countries at that time

[edit]

I've changed many recognition assumptions wiyhout source. According to the webpage of the Holy see they never recognized Inonesia in 1947. Saudi Arabia etc never official recognized Indonesia and egypt etc were'nt sovereign countries at that time so official recognition isn't possible. I believe parts of it are adjusted by Indonesian nationalists rewriting history and eliminate sources.--ArmTheInsane (talk) 15:42, 26 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
