Cheers Territorians, [User comment:Doeasy] Respectfully please note that this is a suggestion opinion; "The 6R80 features "Filled for Life",... low viscosity synthetic transmission fluid (MERCON LV), though a fluid flush is recommended at 150,000".as mentioned in this link:- <ref>https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Ford_6R_transmission?fbclid=IwAR2tdus3I2B-yEekJVUTlEjGQHGoPWoELlOvvXJ4yvuKSi-GfWCamvqUy5U<ref> My experience is that this should be attended to every 60-70,000km, with oil flush and new filter, attending to this will give new life to the G'Box. If any thing has a filter to catch contaminants, they need to be changed on a regular basis. End comment opinion;≈≈≈≈ Doeasy.
