High School Productions

[edit]

In February 2002, Olathe South Senior High School in Olathe, Kansas was the first High School in the United States to perform Footloose. OS got special premission to perform Footloose before its syndicated release later in 2002. They extended the 3 show production to 5 shows over Valentine's Day weekend, with a Saturday and Sunday matinee. That same year, Shawnee Mission South was the first high school in the nation to perform Jekyll and Hyde. Moonraker0022 06:21, 26 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

High School Performances

[edit]

I removed the list of high school performances: it doesn't fit in the "reception" section, it's non-notable, and it's nowhere near a complete list. Feel free to contest this here. - Minkus 21:33, 1 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

There isn't even a reception section! DLWDWFreek (talk) 01:54, 22 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

While I like the fact that there's a link leading to more discussion of high school productions of this show, it unfortunately leads to a site that requires registration to read it. Is there something else we can link to? TrinityClare 03:58, 14 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Footloose full.jpg

[edit]

Image:Footloose full.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Reception Section?????

[edit]

Why isn't there a reception section!?!? DLWDWFreek (talk) 01:56, 22 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Credits

[edit]

Is there a particular reason the original cast of the film should be listed in an article on the musical? Also, in a musical in which so many songwriters were involved, it would be nice to have them listed in the section on the songs. EdMuse1122 (talk) 05:53, 11 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Bomont vs Beaumont?

[edit]

In the movie and on this page the city is spelled Beaumont. Is the musical spelling different?Bojo1498 (talk) 19:05, 16 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
