[edit]I'm greatly impressed with the fact that you used 'house' to refer to the Fon people's home instead of the common word 'hut'; I've always regarded the common usuage as racist. On the other hand I'd like to see the constant reference to the Guinea Coast as the 'Slave Coast' cease. Calling it the 'Slave Coast' gives the impression that the natives of the region were born slaves when the truth is they only became slaves after they were captured and shipped to the Americas. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 70.49.179.253 (talk • contribs) 11:36, 18 August 2006.
Mawu-Lisa versus Nana Buluku
[edit]The religion section says:
- The Supreme Being of the Fon is Mawu-Lisa.
and
- Fon religion is polytheistic, with a supreme (but not omnipotent) deity known as Nana Buluku.
Since I know next to nothing about Vodun, I can't guess whether they're contradictory, or whether ML is another name for NB, or whether it's something else again. Does anyone know? Marnanel (talk) 13:51, 20 January 2016 (UTC)
Numbers discrepancy
[edit]The ingress and the infobox are conflicting 3,5 mill and 4,1 mill for the population numbers.
