Boelcke's recommendation
[edit]This currently reads:
On Boelcke's recommendation, the D.III was replaced by the the new Albatros D.I on the Western Front.[1] The Albatros became standard equipment in German fighter squadrons as sufficient examples became available.[2]
I would prefer:
On Boelcke's recommendation, the Albatros rather than the D.III became standard equipment in German fighter squadrons as sufficient examples became available, replacing the assortment of early Halberstadt and Fokker fighters that formed their initial equipment.[1] [3]
If no one has any objection I will edit the passage in this sense shortly.
