Merger proposal
[edit]I propose to merge Flow straightener into Flow conditioning#Types of flow conditioners. I think that the content in the flow straightening article can easily be explained in the context of the conditioning article, and the small size of this article will fit with whatever is in the conditioning article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Omegalettuce (talk • contribs) 17:58, 1 April 2020 (UTC)

Cone flowmeter section should be added
[edit]A section on cone flowmeters should be added since it has been described to function as a flow conditioner.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 130.95.254.191 (talk) 03:52, 14 October 2020 (UTC)
The English in this article needs improvement
[edit]The text has frequently missing definite and indefinite articles and the chosen adjectives and adverbs are frequently awkward choices that someone whose primary language is English would be unlikely to make. There are unmistakable hints that the article has been cobbled together using a combination of academic or industrial conference research papers and industrial promotional literature. This is not in itself a flaw, but in places the article would benefit from additional rephrasing to harmonize the content. This will require someone with expertise in fluid mechanics which is not one in which I have sufficient expertise to attempt the required editing.
