Contested deletion

[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... (your reason here) --HerbiePocket (talk) 18:24, 6 December 2017 (UTC) This article is unfinished, not unciteable or irrelevent. Its citations simply haven't been added yet. As can be seen from its history it is completed piecemeal through various edits that have taken place. This flag seems premature at best.[reply]

Since I have limited experience as an editor- I would ask how, if at all possible, that this article can be linked to its French language equivalent, found here: https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Florimond_Mac-Curtain_de_Kainlis.

@HerbiePocket: I have linked the article via Wikidata, and the French link now appears on the left hand side of the screen. Please note also that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not mere genealogical directory. Notability is not inherited, and extensive genealogies within notable articles may be deemed irrelevant, trivial, promotional, etc. Also, in case it applies, take extra care if writing about your own family history (see WP:COI).
