[edit]

It is true three large (covering several acres each) traffic circles intersect with Hollywood Boulevard, none are in Miramar, all three are in the city limits of Hollywood. The easternmost circle is Young Circle, named after Hollywood's founder: Joseph W. Young, the middle circle contains Hollywood's City Hall building and is called City Hall Circle and finally the westernmost circle, located in the Hollywood Hills neighborhood, used to be called Academy Circle because it contained the main buildings of the Riverside Military Academy ... these structures were demolished in the late twentieth century and replaced with glassy highrise office buildings.

Another thing: the stretch of Hollywood Blvd. east from Young Circle to Ocean Drive (Highway A1A) is exceptionally wide and planted with tall stately Royal Palms on either side, giving the boulevard an especially grand and beautiful appearence. I think this deserves mention! Buddmar 16:26, 12 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Presidential Circle

[edit]

The third circle is now called "Presidential Circle," located in the Hollywood Hills section of Hollywood - and nowhere near Miramar, FL. This used to be Academy Circle years ago when the Riverside Military Academy occupied the site. Modern glassy office buildings replaced the old military academy.Buddmar 23:03, 21 October 2007 (UTC)buddmar[reply]
